Mayor of Western Mexican Town,Killed!

Mexican authorities say gunmen shot and killed the mayor of a town in the western state of Michoacan, the latest in a string of attacks against elected local officials.

Michoacan state prosecutor Adrian Lopez says Vista Hermosa Mayor Octavio Carrillo was arriving at his home when four gunmen waiting for him opened fire.

Carrillo is the sixth elected local official killed in Michoacan since June.

Violence has soared in Michoacan, President Felipe Calderon's home state, as drug gangs battle each other for territory and intensify attacks on police.

Calderon says drug violence claimed at least 6,000 lives last year.

$7,000 Reimbursement from Palin

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will reimburse the state nearly $7,000 for costs associated with nine trips taken by her children, her attorney said Tuesday.

Palin must reimburse the state within 120 days, according to a settlement agreement filed by a special investigator hired by the Alaska Personnel Board to investigate an ethics complaint filed against her.

The exact amount will be determined by the Alaska Department of Administration, said Palin's attorney, Thomas Van Flein. He estimated the amount would be $6,800.

A 3-day Vacation

We are in Davao City right now for a 3-day vacation.We love coming to Davao City because they have big malls compare to our malls in GenSan.Our Agenda for today is to do some shopping,shopping and more shopping!!! hehehe :-) and tomorrow we are going to the beach,I just don't know yet if we are going to Pearl Farm or just go to Paradise Island,we'll see..I have to end this for now because my family's waiting for me.Have a nice day to you all! :-)

Garden Inn Narita

These pictures were taken from our hotel room in Japan...We stayed in Japan for one night because our flight to the Philippines was canceled due to bad weather..The airline paid for everything,from food,shuttle bus,3 minutes international phone call and of course the hotel room...We stayed at Garden Inn,the place was nice and clean..

Oh my my it is really so hot here in the Philippines...My son got sick when we got here but he does not care he is enjoying himself to death...I am so happy that we got here safely...My family and friends were surprised but it was kool...Well,I won't be able to check or update my blogs always...Thanks for the constant visit my friends!!!
