Leche Flan...
Well,it is already 1:43 am and I am still awake...I am a little bit tired and I really want to go to bed but the leche flan that I am making is not done yet...I made it tonight because we will have a visitor tomorrow and I guess leche flan will be a good merienda "snack" and my husband requested for me to make some,he really loves it...this is how I do my leche flan...
Ingredients:
brown sugar and water
Procedures:
Mix water and sugar in a saucepan over low heat until caramelized(light amber in color). Pour the caramelized sauce into a molder that has been buttered..
Ingredients:
12 egg yolks
1 big can of condensed milk
1 1/2 big can of evaporated milk
Procedures:(for the leche flan)
Combine the egg yolks, condensed milk and evaporated milk and mix them...Pre-heat the oven to 350-400,while putting the mixed ingredients to a molder where the caramelized sugar was put and then put it in the oven with a little bit of water on the tray where the molder was put and then let it cook for 45 minutes...It is the best when it is served cold...
