Bad Mood

My son had an early out today from school. When he got home, he was already not in the good mood. My husband does not have work today so we had plan on going somewhere after our son come out from school but since he was not in the good mood I just decided to stay home. My son was really cranky, crying for whatever reason. He was watching tv but kept on changing the channels and crying. He made me mad and I just lost my patience. I spanked his butt like three times and he ran to his dad. After a few minutes of crying he told his dad he wants to lay down, so I told my husband that he must be tired. We lay down with him and after a few minutes he fell asleep. Now, I feel bad because I spanked him, I should have known that he was tired, I guess he did not get a nap at school or they woke him up early because they had to go home early. Well, I am only human, I try to control myself but sometimes my patience can only be stretched for not that long,sigh! I am sorry baby!

Playing Wii

My husband is playing Wii right now. He is playing Boxing. I really love playing Wii because it is too much fun and very healthy. You get to exercise and have fun at the same time. My husband and I loves playing boxing and bowling, it makes us sweat and we get to use our muscles! :) I would love to play with him, but I got some stuff to do so I just let him play and exercise by himself, he sure is really having a great time! :)

Pizza For Dinner

I am having a pepperoni pizza for dinner. My husband made me some pizza, I am so hungry and I am so ready to eat. Aerobics With Friends

Today was really a great sweaty day. My friends and I did aerobics together at Ate Loren's house. It was really fun and we all sweat to death, which is so good! Exercising by yourself is very boring, that is why my friends and I have decided that we will do it together. I cannot wait until our next aerobics session. The Sun's Out

Wanting To Take A Nap

Causes of Sore Throat

I am experiencing a sore throat right now and it is really bugging me a lot. It is so hard to swallow my food and even hurts when I am drinking my water. I really hate getting sick especially if I get a sore throat. I searched online of what are the causes of sore throat and here's what I've found.

A sore throat can have many causes including:

  1. Common viruses, and even the viruses that cause mononucleosis (mono) and the flu, can cause a sore throat. Some viruses can also produce blisters in the mouth and throat ("aphthous stomatitis").
  1. Breathing through the mouth can produce throat dryness and soreness.
  1. Sinus drainage (post nasal drip) may cause a sore throat.
  1. A sore throat can also be caused by bacteria. The two most common bacteria to cause a sore throat are Streptococcus (which causes strep throat) and Arcanobacterium haemolyticum. Arcanobacterium causes sore throats mainly in young adults and is sometimes associated with a fine red rash.
  1. Sore throat appearing after treatment with antibiotics, chemotherapy, or other immune-compromising medications may be due to Candida, commonly known as "thrush."
  1. A sore throat lasting for more than two weeks can be a sign of a serious illness, such as throat cancer or AIDS.

My son is at preschool now and he is really loving it. Ginisang Munggo

I am going to cook ginisang munggo for lunch. My husband and I went to the Filipino store yesterday to buy munggo, he's been asking me to make it for a long time but I did not have the time to do it. Finally, I got the chance to do it for lunch. If you do not know how to cook it, here's how I do it.


1. In a casserole, put water, munggo, and Knorr pork/beef cube.
2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until the munggo is cooked.
3. In a skillet, heat the oil and saute the garlic, onion, and tomatoes.
4. Add the pork/beef and saute until lightly browned.
5. Add in the munggo and stock.
6. Season with pepper and add the malunggay/spinach leaves.

Feeling So Sick

I am feeling so sick. The weather has been really bad this fast few days. My noise, ears and throat has been itching like crazy :( every morning I also have a sore throat which is killing me :( My muscles are in pain too! I already took tylenol for cold and flu, and it is really a big help. Thanks to my husband who is giving me massages every night to help me relax. Well, I am going to make something to eat now, this is life in America, even if you are sick you still have to work because nobody is going to help you, urgggggg! Take Care Peeps!
