I don't know if Lady Gaga have seen this video already, I am sure she will be amazed and proud. I do hope that Charice and Lady Gaga will sing together one day, it will be a big hit for sure. I hope y'all will like this video! :)

Charice Pempengco Made Muhammad Ali Cry!

As Funfare reported in a “scoop” two weeks ago, Charice flew to Phoenix, Arizona, from L.A. where she shot her scenes for Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel to perform at a tribute to Muhammad Ali on March 29 (along with, among other A-list performers, Josh Groban, Bon Jovi, Jordin Sparks, Quarterbacks John Elway and Steve Young, Forrest Whitaker, Bo Derek and Big Fat Greek Wedding star Roy Firestone).

“I was nervous and excited and I couldn’t help but cry when Ali hugged and kissed me,” Charice told Funfare. “Ang saya-saya ko po at ang bait-bait niya.”

When she sang, it was Charice’s turn to make Ali teary-eyed.

“Napaluha siya nang kantahin ko ang I Will Survive (the Gloria Gaynor hit song). I went down the stage and approached him while I was singing. Nakita kong naluha din ang wife niya. Then, niyakap niya ako at hinalikan. Muntik akong matunaw sa excitement!”

Charice sang two other songs, BeyoncĂ©’s Listen and the Michael Jackson signature song Billy Jean.

“I did the Ali Shuffle while singing that song at doon siya napangiti. I was told that he doesn’t smile daw dahil nga may sakit siyang Parkinson’s Disease.”

Now a certified jet-setter, Charice is leaving again (with her mom Raquel), this time for Italy where she’s appearing in a TV show. She’ll be away for one week.

Charice Pempengco Sings With Andrea Bocelli

I was really getting goosebumps when I watched Charice Pempengco's performance with Andrea Bocelli in Italy.Charice Pempengco was singing "The Prayer" duet with Andrea Bocelli at the teatro del silenzio 2008 on Sunday 20th July 2008.Andrea Bocelli told everybody how she met Charice before they started singing.Here's what he said;

Bocelli:I was in a TV program in America participated in, really, by all the greatest American artists. You might be wondering what I was doing in their midst, but surely I was there for a reason (laughter). Someone approached me in my dressing room and said, "Look, you should come and listen to an extraordinary voice, a young girl with an incredible voice. I'm usually skeptical about these comments but I went to check out and at the end of the song, there was an incredible standing ovation! I went to congratulate her. She thanked me and candidly told me, "I would like to sing with you". I asked her, "What song would you like to sing with me?" She responded, "The Prayer". Well, Mission accomplished! Ladies and Gentlemen, Charice is only 16 years old. For the rest, you yourselves make the judgment. (Music introduction. An Italian lady quips, "Oh my God, great, it's a song that I'm familiar with.)

Manny Pacquiao defeated David Diaz

Manny Pacquiao once again defeated another Mexican Boxer. From the first too-quick combination to the decisive left cross to the jaw,Pacquiao's ninth-round TKO victory at the Mandalay Bay Events Center also seemed to be a coronation. Most observers left the fight convinced the Filipino star deserves the unofficial honor of being known as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. With a championship belt in his fourth weight class and a landmark victory in his fifth division,Pacquiao showed he's only getting better as he gets bigger. The next few years will determine just how big he can get as he embarks on what's sure to be an eventful tour of the talented lightweight division - with perhaps an incredibly lucrative side trip to junior welterweight for a fight against Ricky Hatton.

Pacquiao's dominant victory over Diaz answered several questions about the Filipino star's size and focus. In his first fight as a lightweight,Pacquiao was as quick and powerful as ever - yet he also stayed disciplined, picking apart Diaz with a precision that hasn't always been shown by a fighter who loves a good brawl.

Manny Pacquiao dedicated his fight to all the Filipino especially to all the victims of the Typhoon Frank in the Philippines. He promised to do everything he can to help all the victims of Typhoon Frank.I hope and Pray that he will do what he promised because the victims of Typhoon Frank really need his help.Thank You for making us all proud Manny, you are the one and only People's Champ!

Movie actor Rudy Fernandez succumbed to periampullary cancer at his home in White Plains,Quezon City at 6:15 a.m. Saturday. He was 55 years old.

Fernandez had been battling the disease for more than two years.

The action star passed away five days after he was brought home from the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City, where he had been confined for a month. He and wife Lorna Tolentino celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Sunday.

He suffered a seizure on Wednesday but refused to be taken back to the Cardinal Santos Memorial Center in San Juan City.

His close friends,Sens. Jinggoy Estrada and Ramon “Bong” Revilla, broke the news to media minutes after his death.

His wife and other friends were with him as he passed away,Estrada said.

Fernandez’s remains lie in state at the Heritage Park in Taguig City. Interment plans will be announced later.

Revilla told the Inquirer that Fernandez had suffered from internal bleeding for several days. He also said Fernandez was glassy-eyed most of the time and had difficulty recognizing people.

Revilla said that while he was on his way to the Fernandez home at 9 p.m. Friday, the veteran actor’s blood pressure had plummeted. Fernandez’s manager, Lolit Solis, also told the Inquirer that he was reduced to murmuring instructions to his wife. The actor would wince at the lightest touch.

Fernandez, born March 3, 1953 in Manila, started appearing in movies at age three in a film directed by his father Gregorio Fernandez, Luksang Tagumpay in 1956,according to the CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Art.But his actual movie career started in 1970 under a Sampaguita Pictures contract for the film entitled “For Your Mama.”

Fernandez’s entry in the action genre came in 1976 in the biopic of a notorious criminal, “Bitayin si Baby Ama,” a box-office hit that established him as a big name in Philippine movies for the next three decades.
