Like what I have said on my previous post, Today, my husband and I are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary. Since, he is not home, we have decided that we will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary late this year. I still have a few weeks to decide what kind of gift I am going to give him. I know my husband is not a materialistic person that is why I have to choose something that he will really appreciate and use. I know how much he likes leather jackets and pants. I've already found a nice leather jacket and also some Klim Traverse Pants. I am sure he would like these pants especially it is from me! =)

My son will be turning seven years old on July 30 and we are going to celebrate it in the Bahamas. My son got really excited when he learned about our trip to the Bahamas for his birthday. He talks about it almost everyday and telling everyone how he cannot wait for his seventh birthday beach party.

His grandmother (my mother) promised him that she will take him to Blue Lagoon, so he can swim and take pictures with the dolphins, that really made him so happy. His Aunt Sandy and Uncle Charlie also told him that if he keeps getting good grades in school and is well-behaved, they would give him a lot of birthday presents, so he is really doing his best to keep up his high grades and to be a good boy everyday. My husband is going to meet me and my son in the Bahamas for his Rest and Recuperation. He will be with us there for two weeks but he would have to leave before our son's actual birthday so we have decided to have our son's birthday party a week early so that my husband can be part of it. I already have started planning for my son's beach party. I already talked to my mother and sister about the venue, food, balloons and cake, all I have to do now is to send out his birthday invitations. My friends and I are going to have a halloween party tomorrow. My son is very excited to wear his halloween costume and to go trick or treat. It is just sad to know that we cannot party all night because the kids will have school the next day and I have to go to work too!

Look at my little one, isn't he cute? That picture was taken yesterday before I dropped him off at school. Yesterday was his graduation day. I am really so proud of my son, he's been doing so great at school. I cannot believe how time flies, this coming school year he will be in first grade already.

It is Memorial Day on Monday. It is very important that we remember our brave ones on that day. Let us all think and thank them for all the sacrifices that they have made for us to have our freedom. I know most of us are very happy for having a four-day weekend but let us not forget to remember those people who gave their lives for us.

My son's graduating from Kindergarten on May 27. We are really all excited for him but I guess he is more excited than us. Everyday he come home from school, he keeps singing their graduation song. I really cannot believe how time fly, my son will be in 1st grade.

I am really so proud of my son, he's been doing so good in school. I just hope and Pray that he will do great and excel with academics in 1st grade. Mijo, Papi and Mami loves you so much! :) We are so proud of you, Congrats! :)

An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves. My family and I are going to a friend's house tonight to welcome say Hello to the new year and say goodbye to the old year.

I didn't have plan on cooking for thanksgiving since I didn't know what time my husband would be able to come home. My husband's friends did everything for our thanksgiving dinner. They all cooked and I just had to relax and watch tv.

Last night my son and I went to a friend's house. She invited us over for dinner because her husband just came home for his r&r. I was really happy when I saw the lechon baboy (roasted pig) it's been so long since I last ate it.

I am so happy that I was able to take home some lechon and that is what I ate first thing in the morning. The lechon tasted really good and it was really cooked so well. I still have some left over and that's what I am going to eat for lunch and dinner.
